Since 23rd September, I live in Warsaw to study at Warsaw School of Economics(SGH). It took about 16 hours from Japan to Warsaw by air. I was tired to come here very much! But I like living in Warsaw and have a good time here, Actually this is my first visiting to Europe, so everything is surprising and amazing for me. Foods, diet, temperature, climate, behavior, buildings, and etc are quite different from Japanese ones. I'll show you some photos which show my surprising things which I experienced in Warsaw.

This is Polish traditional dish, "Pierogi". Soon when I saw it, I thought it was very similar to a Chinese dish "jiǎozi(餃子)". I tried to do research about Pierogi, and I could understand why Pierogi and jiǎozi are almost the same. In the past, jiǎozi was transmitted from China to Poland via Russia. But the inside of Pierogi is a little different from jiǎozi. It is not only meet, but also vegetables, mushrooms, and fruits.

DSCN0015.JPG

This is a landmark of Warsaw, the Palace of Culture and Science. This was built in 1955. This is a present from Joseph Stalin, who was a General Secretary of Soviet Union. There are cinema, museum, offices, and radio and tv station.

DSCN0060.JPG

These photos show my friends. They are German, Austrian, Slovakian, French, Singaporean, Taiwanese, Korean, and of course Polish. All of them are really nice. Whenever I go to Polish friend's house, I have to drink Vodka with some people. It always makes me feel fine I like Vodka

DSCN0062.JPG

DSCN0093.JPG

DSCN0031.JPG

And I'm going to Krakow this weekend. I'll show you some photos about my this weekend trip.
