Many people here have already used profile function in this forum, but if you haven’t done so, you can add an avatar and write about yourself. It’s not absolutely necessary to add things in your profile, but it makes easier for other members to see who you are and where you are from.
To add information in your profile:
1) Login. (You can't use the edit profile function unless you log in.)
2) Click “User Control Panel” at the top left corner.
3) On the User Control Panel page, go to “Options” section on the left and click “Profile.”
4) On the “Edit profile” page, you can add your country for “Location” and write your interests. You can add other things such as your website URL or ICQ number, etc. Remember, this information will be visible to public. Don’t’ write your physical address or phone number, or anything you don’t want other people know. You can write about yourself in detail in the “Self-Introduction” section in the forum, which is only visible to this forum members.
5) Click “Submit” at the bottom to set the information you input.
6) You can also add an avatar (small icon) in the forum. It could be a photo of yourself or any image. The image has to be less than 100 x 100 pixels, file size 20kb. If you have a big photo or a picture, you have to reduce the size to use it as an avatar. If you don’t have PhotoShop type software to do this, you can email your photo to Mr. Kohama. He can change the size and post your avatar for you. Again, this will be visible to public, so if you don’t wish to show your portrait, you can use drawings or some scanned images.
7) If you already have an appropriate image on your computer, you can upload it using “Upload from your machine” under “Edit avatar.” You can simply browse through your files on your computer, and when it’s found, click “Submit” at the bottom of the page. You can also upload an image from an URL.
If you have any questions on how to use the profile function, please email Mr. Kohama, or you can reply to this post.
