A10 Members of Japan and Poland had met each other at an ancient capital, Krakow, in Poland on March 29, 2010.
Kei, who had studied at Warsaw School of Economics since last September, joined Japanese members and went fro Krakow by night train. Rafal, Krystian, Aga, Michal, Mariusz, Kinga and her friend were at the station. Rafal and Krystian had been in Japan and stayed with some of those Japanese people in Matsusaka City. Kasia joined them when they had dinner together on a boat on Wisła river.
Some Polish members had known each other via the A10 forum. However they had not met each other until this meetup. Only Kasia and Krystian lived in Krakow so that other members came to the city with making time for the meetup.
Our Japanese and Polish members walked on the most famous Floriańska Street. Waling in front of Juliusz Słowacki Theatre and Barbakan, we arrive at Sukiennice. They were a little bit disappointed because of the repair and conservation of it's main attraction - Sukiennice. Still they had a lot to see, so they went inside the St. Mary's Basilica. Kyoko from Japan liked it very much.
They visited the Wawel Castle for sightseeing was the Wawel Castle. Unfortunately, at Monday royal chambers are closed, besides they were there after the 16:00, so all of the places were already closed. They could see and walk along the castle grounds, though.
After looking at the view from the castle (it's situated on the hill, so you can see quite big part of the city from it), they had headed down. In front of the dragon's den of the Wawel Hill we saw a monument of the dragon. He breaths fire, so everyone wanted to take a photo, but when he did, nobody could take a good shot of it because of the wind.
They went inside a restaurant situated on a ship on the Vistula river. After the meal, they took a small walk. Then Kei and Kyoko left Krakow for Czech on the night train again. Miho and Satsuki stayed one night in Krakow and visited he Wawel Castle again with Rafal, Aga, Michal and Mariusz. And in the afternoon, Miho and Satsuki went to Kościuszko Mound with Krystian by a tram. At the night Miho and Satsuki took a night train to Czech.
March 29 Krakow Meet Up is a topic about this event on the Ask 10 Persons Project Froum.
